We plan to offer weekend hours for same-day sick visits. We also have a provider on call every day of the year 24/7. So, even if you have an urgent call during the night, a physician will be available to answer you.

One of our pediatricians will check on and examine your newborn every morning after delivery while you are in the hospital.

Yes, we do everything we can to support the best health of all of our patients, including providing separate waiting rooms for sick and well patients.

Absolutely. All Ocean Pediatrics physicians are board certified and fellows of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Yes! One of our physicians will be available to care for your family with a same-day visit when your child is sick.

Definitely! Your Ocean Pediatrics provider is there for you every step of the way when it comes to nutrition, sleep, behavior, development, and any other advice you may need for the best health of your child.

Absolutely! A few of our complimentary classes include New Parents, Breastfeeding, Infant/Child CPR, and Intro into Solids.

Ocean Pediatrics follows the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC. In order to provide a safe and effective vaccine schedule for all of our patients, we work with parents requesting an alternative schedule and those willing to accept at least some vaccines.

At Ocean Pediatrics, we make every effort to offer your family comprehensive medical care. As a result, we request that before seeking specialty care or visiting an Urgent Care you contact our office. This is crucial in order for us to discuss care plans, help coordinate your care, and stay involved by providing urgent care for you in our office when possible or by referring you to the most appropriate specialist. If you do see a specialist, please be sure to have them send a report directly to our office so we can align and maintain the best care possible for your child.

We are proud to offer guaranteed same-day sick appointments in order to meet the needs of our patients. Weekend hours are only available for same-day sick appointments, however, we ensure that one of our providers is on-call 24/7 every day of the year. You can access their contact information by calling our main number.

In the case of a medical emergency, please call 911. In all other cases we request that you contact our on-call provider for advice and care coordination before visiting Urgent Care or the Emergency Room. In these cases, we do our best to arrange a weekend morning visit for patients who should not wait to receive care until a weekday.

While we do not offer walk-in hours, we ask that you call our office so we can make every effort to accommodate you with the first available appointment. Please let us know your concerns in detail so we can provide you with an appropriate length of time to meet with your physician.

Our practice does everything we can to stay on time with appointments and keep your day on track. As a result, we ask all of our patients to be on time to their appointment and to let us know if you are running behind or are unable to make it. In order to respect the time of all of our patients, we reserve the right to request that parents reschedule if they miss their scheduled appointment.

At Ocean Pediatrics, we pride ourselves on our use of cutting-edge technology to provide your family with the best and most efficient care possible. That is why we offer a convenient patient portal and maintain state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

We are committed to working with all of our families to provide a safe and effective Immunization Schedule. Our policy follows the guidelines of the CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

At Ocean Pediatrics, we make every effort possible to avoid the overuse of antibiotics. That is why we make it a priority to follow evidence-based guidelines and educate families on the appropriate use of antibiotics. As a result, we do not automatically treat mild conditions with antibiotics or routinely call in antibiotics over the phone. However, we will be certain to prescribe them when they are an appropriate and necessary treatment, and are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Before you make an appointment, we ask that you check to make sure we take your specific insurance plan. Parents must be responsible for understanding how their insurance works, (including deductibles and coinsurance) and provide up-to-date insurance information for every visit. Although we may not be able to answer all insurance-related questions, please do not hesitate to call our office and check with your insurance company if you have any specific questions.
